Moving Mountains in Haiti

Moving Mountains is a fundraising campaign that will be taking place between November 20 and December 25. Through this campaign, Columbia University Intervarsity will partner with individuals, universities, and organizations in Haiti to push against mountains of injustice.
This campaign will aim to fund-raise $6,000 in three stages. However, this campaign is more than collecting money. It's about increasing in faith, manifested through actions so that we can truly love our brothers in sisters This is not by any means a mislead attempt to save Haiti nor to end all injustices. Instead we are surrendering so God can use us to move some mountains blocking justice.
This campaign is comprised of three stages.
Stage 1: Emergency Relief: November 20-November 27 (Goal: $2,500)
This stage will be working with individuals in Les Cayes and Leogane to provide food to displaced families. Priority is given to families with children and the elderly in the worst-hit, and neglected regions.
Stage 2: Trauma Counseling: November 27-December 4 (Goal: $1,500)
This stage will partner with psychology students, graduates and professors at the State University who are traveling to the South to provide trauma counseling. The funds raised will go towards their travel, and housing costs.
Stage 3: Cholera Prevention: December 4-December 11 (Goal: $2,000)
This stage will work to lessen the systematic injustices that occur due to limited access to clean water through partnering with Clean Water for Haiti. These funds will be used to purchase water filters to families.
