Elderly mother in need of help

My 73 year old widowed mother is in need. She grew old right before my eyes. She has become stubborn, combative and set in her ways, just like many other elderly folks I have met. She has lived a good life and raised 3 children with love and compassion, her youngest tragically being deceased. In her retirement She has outlived her money. Her house is falling down around her. Sadly, I am unable to assist her. She has recently won her battle with breast cancer and Aspergillus. She suffers with COPD and uses a breathing machine. Now termites have eaten her home so badly she needs a complete renovation. Her home owners insurance does not cover termite damage. The termite company she is contracted with is not responsible for the damage. She has a heart of gold. My heart is heavy for her. I am reaching out to hopefully get the funds she needs to get her home livable again.
She worked as a Nurse for the mentally handicapped for many years before going to work at a hospital. She is on a fixed income. She is a pillar of her community and has always helped others in need. Before my father passed away the community knew they could count on both of them to help others.
My mother could certainly use all your prayers and support to help get through this unexpected and unforeseen dilemma. There have been large unplanned expenses that were certainly not anticipated and so, we are asking for your help in anyway you can assist with the finances that lies ahead. She always puts a brave face on.
My siblings and I are caring for Her as best we know how. Apparently, she doesn’t like to worry her children with things until they are out of hand. - When I say set in her ways: she won't come stay with us. This is her home and she says, “I will die here". I never thought I would have a need to use this avenue for help, but things have become immediate and desperate for us. We are looking for an immediate fix for her repair bills and any kind of help with phone numbers or organizations to help get my mother from under her falling down house. This is all new to us and don't know where to turn for help. Her beautiful historic home is falling down beneath her feet.
