"Most Wanted Fun Run" for Maddy

Maddy's Story
Maddy Wright and her family lived in Pioche, Nevada for about 4 years. Her siblings went to Lincoln County High School while she attended Pioche Elementary. They moved and now live in Cedar City, Utah.
Maddy was involved in an ATV accident and was knocked unconscious. At the hospital, the doctors ran a variety of tests and discovered that Maddy had a golf ball size tumor located next to her brain stem.
On February 26th, Maddy went into surgery and the doctors removed 80% of the tumor. Though not cancerous, the surgeons left the remaining portion of the tumor because of its precarious location near Maddy's brain stem. Maddy will most likely have treatment and check-ups the rest of her life to monitor the status of the tumor.
Insurance has covered a majority of the cost for Maddy's treatment and operations so far. However, there still is a $9,000 amount that the insurance did not cover.
Our goal is to raise $9000 to help Maddy's family pay for her hospital bills.

Our Accounting/Entrepreneurship class in Lincoln County high school is having a fun run - The Most Wanted Fun Run - in Maddy's honor to help raise the $9000. The fun run is based on an actual historical event that happened here in Lincoln County.
In 1874, George Lambert, alias The Flying Dutchman, escaped from the Pioche jail, dressed all in black.
The Sheriff of Lincoln County placed an ad in the local newspaper offering a reward and asked for everybody's help in capturing the "Man in Black" - just like we are asking for your help today.
So, for our Most Wanted Fun Run, everybody will be chasing the "Man in Black" for Maddy.
WHEN
At 4: 00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019, we will re-enact this historical chase.
The fun run will start at Court Rock on the campus of Lincoln County High School. Participants will chase the Man in Black from Court Rock to the Rodeo Grounds - an easy distance of just 2 miles - where they will capture the Man in Black, be doused in sky blue powder (Maddy's favorite color), and be deputized with their very own badge.
Individuals and families are invited to join in the chase. You can walk or run, whichever you prefer. The route will take you out into the countryside of Lincoln County where there's a fresh water spring, a unique "Tea Cup" rock formation and the beautiful hills of southern Nevada.
We'd appreciate as much love and support as we can get towards this cause.
To run the race, youth are just $8 pre-register and $10 day of the race. Adults (18+) are $16 pre-register and $20 day of the race. Families (2 Adults/2 Youth) are just $39.
If you can't make it to the race, or don't want to run, you can donate as a "Phantom Runner." Any size donation is welcome - even a dollar helps! If you would like to donate and also receive a Commemorative T-shirt, you can donate $20 or more, plus $5 for shipping/handling.
