On Monday 11 th February 2019 we unexpectedly lost our beloved Mortimer Barnett aged 22.
Real Talk with Simply Deez and others in the community, are honoured to set up this campaign in loving memory of Mortimer who touched the hearts of many just by keeping it real.
For those who knew and loved Mortimer he was open about the challenges he had faced, but nonetheless was positive and determined to make a difference to his life, and those of others by speaking about his experiences and inspiring those who listened.
He loved his music and was on the road to paving a successful career as a music artist performing at events including International Men’s Day and Luton Urban Radio’s Community Event Day.
So many have offered to help Mortimer’s family and this fund is a means of giving that opportunity to all who wish to make a contribution to ensure that Mortimer gets the send off he deserves.
On behalf of the Barnett family, Real Talk with Simply Deez thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this sad time.
