HI EVERYONE!!! :)
We are Gabe and Kayla aka ADOBO Sandwich; Hardworking, resposible (kinda) parents by day and YouTubers by night! ;)
A few more things about us is that we live in Seattle, (Go SEAHAWKS!) we met in highschool, got married and have 2 kids.
The Philippines and the Filipino culture is something that has always intrigued us; with Gabe obviously being Filipino and going to the Philippines at a young age and Kayla, who has had Filipino/a friends growing up and being immersed in the culture when married into Gabes Family, we know there is still so much more to learn and appreciate about the culture, AND WHAT BETTER WAY THAN TO ACTUALLY BE THERE!

Its funny when we think about it but since the start of our channel, we knew we wanted to represent and cater to the Filipino/a audience specifically. There are very few videos on our channel that don't relate to the PH in someway and that's how we want to keep it.
Since the beginning we have always stated that we are "Repping Filipino Music, Culture and FOOD" as well as sharing our JOURNEY as a Filipino-American Family.
It's crazy and humbling at the same time witnessing how fast our CHANNEL has grown. We never expected to have the ability to reach out to so many people and BECAUSE OF THAT... We have come to the realization recently that this channel is BIGGER than JUST us. We realize that ADOBO Sandwich is a VEHICLE to put Filipino Culture ON THE MAP, not just locally, not just nationally... But GLOBALLY!!!
...Whether it be people tapping toes to the tune of the MOST talented singers in the WORLD or a family of any ethnic background stopping by the neighborhood Jollibee to order some Sweet Spaghetti!
The CULTURE of the PHILIPPINES has SO MUCH TO OFFER!!! YOU know it, WE know it, but the REST of the world doesn't know it, and THAT is our PURPOSE that we will carry out as long as our channel exists!
ABOUT THE TRIP!
As of right now, the Morissette Amon Concert (LOVE HER!) is said to be taking place at Araneta Coliseum on February 20, 2018. This will be the HIGHLIGHT of our trip!
The funds that are raised will go towards flight, lodging and transporation while we are in the Philippines. If we are lucky enough to reach our goal, we will more than likely visit multiple destinations and experience everything each location has to offer. (Any suggestions?)
If we EXCEED our goal, this will go ENTIRELY to giving back the the Filipino community and the ADOBO Sandwich FAM aka YOU GUYS! :)
Even if you can't donate, a simple act such as SHARING on social media about the trip would be greatly appreciated as well!
