On Monday, November 11, 2019, my husband Sterling Moore was in a serious semi truck accident in Rock Island, Illinois. He is a hard working truck driver and we live in North Carolina.
Sterling was driving in the state of Illinois when a semi tractor trailor traveling westbound on I-74 loss control and crossed over into the east bound lane. Sterling was hit head on in the collison. He was medivacked to a nearby hospital in Illinois and within hours medivacked to a trauma center in Iowa City, Iowa. Sterling sustained life threatening trauma and is on life support.
My children and I are devastated by this event. My husband is the sole provider for our family. We are asking for your sincere prayers and financial support. We never imagined the psychological, physical, and financial toll that a catastrophic injury can take.
To experience this type of tragedy is beyond words. The travel, medical, and living expenses are tremendous. Thank you for helping us when we need it the most.
