Mooney for Moo the Hamster of GCH
Moo is an adorable little hamster that was taken in recently by Sarah of the Great Canadian Hamsters rescue.
GCH is a new rescue based in Toronto, Ontario. They have an amazing standard of care and provide prompt vet care for any hamsters in need. When little Moo came to them, it was apparent he would need surgery very soon - an eye removal. As a new rescue, hearing one of your first intakes needs surgery right away can be worrisome, and it causes the vet fund that's been built up to take a hit.
As someone who used to run a small animal rescue myself, I understand and appreciate how integral donations and spreading the word are to the ongoing success of a rescue. Sarah is determined and caring, and Moo is getting the highest quality of care possible. This comes with a bit of a high price tag. I'm hoping to raise $500 for Sarah to cover surgery costs as well as any ongoing expenses (eye drops, pain medication, etc.) that Moo might need.
