Mood Kill

At a time when public debate surrounding male mental health has never been stronger, Mood Kill asks What next? After the debate has been had, what is life like for those living with this on a daily basis. In our latest verbatim play, real stories from across Britain are given the stage. Through intimate and personal accounts, Mood Kill questions how fractured and neglected mental health is in modern British society. This emotionally driven play raises the voices of these men at a time in our social conscience when talking is crucial.

Is Britain facing a crisis of masculinity?

What can we do as a society to enable debate?

And what is life like for those suffering today?

Snippet Theatre Company are raising funds for our new verbatim play, Mood Kill. For the past two years, we have been interviewing men from up and down Britain, confronting their experiences with mental health and suicide.

We will use the funds raised here to take the show to The White Bear Theatre and the Camden Fringe festival in August. It is a really important project to us as a company and we would love to be able to give the voices we have captured the stage they deserve.

Currently working with no budget, we will be grateful for any help we can to tell the stories of these men.
