Goal - Annecy to St Tropez to raise funds for children living with cancer.
January 12th was a sunny, warm day and we, (Karen and Judy), decided to put the new e-bikes, brand new just out of the shop (and ourselves) to the ultimate test.
That is… Riding from Vesonne up to Montmin. Those that have done it or tried to do it know the challenge.
Neither one of us had spent much time on a bike in the past 7 years!!! Serge would have been the 1st to confirm that !!
We started in Giez to get a run up, stopped for coffee 500 metres later in Vesonne, Then it was the climb to Montmin.
It may only be 6 km but it is up, up, UP.
When we reached the top, we agreed that if we could do that, then we could do anything!
SO.... we have decided to join a group of women from Talloires (and try and encourage some more girls from Montmin, Les Montminettes ) on a fundraising, 5 day bike trip from Montmin to Talloires to St Tropez.
The ride starts May 30th and we will arrive in St Tropez on June 3rd.
The association is called “le Coeur Vanessa ”. The funds raised for this event will go to “A Chacun son Everest ” which supports children living with cancer. (English equivalent would be the Starlight Foundation) Cancer touches everyone and comes in many forms. We all have a family member or friend who is battling this disease. As you know this is a subject close to our hearts.

YOU, our beloved family, friends, acquaintances, friends we have not yet meet…...
We are calling on your love, help, support and most of all $ Dollars $s, € Euros €, £ pounds £, cents, pennies and pence by sponsoring “les Montminettes” on this adventure challenge / challenging adventure for a worthy cause.
To do this we have set up a “Go Fund Me” account. This means that anyone from any country can contribute.
Any small, medium or, of course, large donations are very appreciated.
If you are a company, you can choose to become a sponsor and have your logo on our jerseys or on all the jerseys, or on the support cars and communication. Contact us for more info.
