TYPHOON YUTU DAMAGE
October 24, Saipan was hit by Super typhoon Yutu. Isla Montessori school sustained damages to the grounds and the Children's house. We lost a roof and the storm flooded part of a classroom damaging primary materials. We are in need of new language and math materials, books, pencils, sensorial materials. We are striving to reopen as soon as possible so that the children can have a sense of normalacy in this time of chaos. Any help you can give is greatly appriciated.

Isla Montessori is a school that brings together the island community and the education of its children. We value the rich heritage of Saipan’s cultures and are committed to bringing these cultures and history into the classroom and incorporating the many resources of the island in the education of the children.
IMS is at the beginning of an exciting journey to create a classroom one village at a time in Saipan. We have a dedicated team behind our grassroots efforts to bring a Montessori education to all on island. Our goals are high and our hearts are wide. We are dedicated in our efforts to reach more children and families in Saipan.
