Sean Bolis MUDSLIDE relief fund con

The sheriff came to my sons door, and urgently requested for him to leave his home. This is Diane del Vecchio and my son is Sean Bolis. Looks like they will be evacuated again this Tuesday.

Being in another simular or worse emergency situation where the mud slides were coming toward his home, he  had to leave and will have to leave again, with only the clothes on his back.  His car was already damaged by the horrific fires before the floods. He is 34 and a wonderful father and person.

Fortunately, his son was  away with his mom in Palm Springs. Sean, during the first flood could not go back to his house to retrieve any of his belongings. Surrounding his home is total devastation.   His work place was also affected by the floods in the fire. He has since then been separated from his son until the freeway 101 opened up. Now it seems like it may happen again. Everyone is tired of packing up their pets and important belongings and having to stay in hotels.

They are saying only 20% of the mountain came down and there is another 85% hanging on by a thread. This up and coming storm is suppose to be worse then the last one. Prayer is needed. Huge boulders are hanging and just one down pour will send them barreling through this beautiful community again.

Sean has been dedicating his time helping the victoms by feeding families that stayed and are traped in their homes. Mostly the elderly who have no place to go. Sean is working on a documentary and some of the footage you can see on this site. I am a proud mother but fear for everyone living in Montecito. All the local busineses are on the brink of closing down because their customers were the residents of Montecito and so many people left. Sean is trying to help them get known and with his skills is trying to get the word out that they are still open.  He volunteers at the Wine and Cheese shop, located in Montecito, to feed people working breathlessly to dig people out. They are offering food for free and are known for their generous contribution that is widly appreciated and needed! The love and support is pouring into this community thru them and people like them.

It is so beautiful to see how this community and others are coming together. The bucket brigade is a group of volunteers who are going house to house shelving the mud, now hardened, around peoples homes so atleast they can get inside them.

He is in need of possible relocation, clothes,  everything to restart his life again. Sean is a good kid and has helped many children in Montecito in other areas. The city awarded him for his community service and his outstanding accomplishments by volunteering to help kids  in the Santa Barbara area and he founded "ILL CLEAN UP" which is a group of young kids that help clean up graffiti and other destruction that was done in the local parks and other places in the community. He is well respected and loved and too proud to ask for any help.

I am extremely grateful for the support you all are showing on this site. Lots of you gave but not on Go Fund Me but by personal contributions.

I would be grateful for any help and Sean would be happy to work for any donations,  so that he can find a place to live and start his life over again and to continue his undying support of community repair.

Our prayers go out to all the families who have been affected by this awful storm and fire and the ones who have lost loved ones including close friends of ours. God bless this area and all the people who have been affected by this devastating tragedy . And God be with us all this up and coming storm.

I thank you in advance for any help that you can provide and you know that it won't only go to Sean but to others who need help as well. And that's because Sean is a good person and his mission in life is to help others, but right now he also needs help. My name is Diane Del Vecchio, Sean's mother. The money that is donated will be used for clothes for Sean and his son. Also, a place to relocate and to try and fix his car if it is possible.
