Monte Woods Funeral Expenses

On April 15, 2017, our father, Monte Woods, passed away unexpectantly. He did not have life insurance or any arrangements made for himself prior to his passing. This page is dedicated to raising the funds necessary for us to give him a proper funeral and burial.  We've updated the goal amount to include the additional unexpected cemetery costs and a headstone.

Our father had a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.  He loved deeply and touched many lives.  He was a musician and song writer.  He loved to entertain with his music.  He loved dogs and bred German Shepherds. He was an All-Star football player at George Washington Highschool, graduating in 1971 with a football scholarship to Ball State University.  He worked in carpentry, construction, roofing, and in the taxi service.

This has hit our family very hard.  We miss him very much.  The pain is crippling.  He has moved on to a better place and we will carry on with him in our hearts.  We have a lot of good memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
