Help Monitor the Air around the Compressor Station
Donate TODAY!

Medina County Together is working with Sustainable Medina County, the Ohio Community Rights Network and the Southwest Pennsylvania Environmental Health Project to bring you the following information and opportunity to help your county.

Construction for the Nexus natural gas pipeline is to begin October 10, 2017.

Studies show it will pollute our air, water and soil throughout Medina County, impacting our food chain and the health of residents and animals.

Your donation will help to cover the costs of air monitors, health assessments and data analysis around the proposed gas compressor station in Guilford Township. This testing equipment will gather data prior to construction, and after operations begin. This will clarify the measurable harm caused by the transport of fracked natural gas in the pipeline and compressor station in Medina County.

The Nexus pipeline will go through the following Ohio counties: Columbiana, Carroll, Stark, Wayne, Summit, Medina, Lorain, Erie, Sandusky, Lucas, Fulton and Wood, on its way through Michigan to Canada for export overseas.

You can help by donating towards the goal of $20,000. The Ohio Community Rights Network will be collecting your earmarked donations for the testing equipment provided by the Southwest Pennsylvania Environmental Health Project and other services provided during this project. If you prefer to donate directly by check, please write checks to "Sustainable Medina County Monitoring” and mail to:  Sustainable Medina County, PO Box 1033, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
