Supporting Monica's Fight
Hey everyone thanks for stopping by my mom's Go Fund Me! I set this up for my mom in hopes of raising some money to put to insurance, medical bills and daily expenses with traveling to and from the cancer center. This is my mom's 2ND time within a year battling Stage 4 Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma and it's hit us a lot harder this time. This cancer has come back with a vengeance and is a lot more agressive. It has taken over my mom's whole body. In addition to my mom's Lymphoma diagnosis she was also diagnosed with an underlying condition called Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. CLL is not curable on it's own.
Unfortunately as a result my mom will not only have to undergo a rigorus chemotherapy treatment but a bone marrow transplant as well. This is an extensive and extremly dangerous procedure requiring my mom to stay within a 15 mile radius of Moffitt in case any problems occur. This alone is a huge expense for my mom to have.
A few months ago my mom's hair just started to grow back, she just started feeling better, thinking she could start living her life with her family and accomplishing her dreams. Now unfortunately her hair is once again gone and everything has to be put on hold. My mom can no longer work, go to church or even go to the store as her disease has consumed majority of her life.
Cancer has taken my mom's freedom and strength but it has not taken her will to fight and live! There are days where my mom can hardly walk yet she carries on and puts a smile on. Her strength, optimisim and will inspires me and makes me so proud to have such an awesome mom. She has done so much for so many in her life and I want to help her not have to worry so much.
At this very stressful and sad time I know an awesome surprise like starting this page would make my mom smile. So I am asking you all from the bottom of my heart to please help my mom and our family any way you can.
