Money for my visually impaired son

My 5yo son is visually impaired and has some adaptions around the house and school to try and make life as normal and easy as possible. We are unable to do all the adaptions he needs due to low finances. The adaptions he needs are not allowed to be done in the rented property we are in so would like to get a more suitable place for him that can have the adaptions. His school has a few magnifyers but needs other things to help him with his school work. He is in and out of hospital and it takes 3 hours a trip by bus as our car has been scrapped as couldn't get it fixed, (would cost more than buying a car) so would like to get a car big enough that he can get in and out of being as independent as possible and with adaptive lighting for him to see better and not get scared when it gets darker.
