Mom's Medical and Final Expenses

Rosemary Soetaert. About 10 days ago Mom was showing symptoms of the flu....chest congestion, cough, fever. But she didn't go to the doctor because Dad had the same smyptoms...so she focused on taking care of him. A few days later Dad found her on the floor of the hallway, barely breathing. He got her to the hospital and after a battery of tests they found out that not only did she have pneumonia, but she also had fluid in her lungs, congestive heart failure, and her blood showed signs of low oxygen.
Her conditions worsened within a day of the hospital and they had to put her on a ventilator. She spent a total of 10 days in ICU, mostly medicated. But we did get one day where she was alert. She let us know that if she was not going to get better, then let her move onto heaven. This was the hardest conversation we've ever had. And today we granted her wish to be with the Lord.
I set up this page to help out my Dad. I'm sure that the medical bills are going to be astronomical. We do know that the final arrangements for my Mom are going to be right at $17,000. I'd love to help ease the burden on him. If you can help out with these I know that my entire family would be grateful. Thank you so much. We love you all.
