I never imagined I would be here creating this account...For all that know my mother she is the most kind, loving beautiful soul and No, I'm not exaggerating. Any one who has had the joy of being her friend is quite lucky. And those who haven't, you're missing out! Robin is an amazing wife, mother, sister, friend and GiGI.
My rock, my best friend.
My mom Robin was diagnosed last week with adenocarcinoma lung cancer. This has come to a complete shock being that she is young, healthy, as well as a non smoker. What we all believed to be a really bad case of bronchitis, ended up being our biggest nightmare.
Chemo therapy has begun, We are looking forward to kicking cancers ass. It will be a long road but we have hope!
Please everyone, join me in support and prayer for my mom.
My mother is strong in her faith and loves her God. There is no stopping Robin in her fight against cancer.
I am creating this account to help with travel needs as it becomes necessary.
Whether you can help financially, or in prayers.. It is all welcomed and greatly appreciated.
Thank you

So today is robins last day of chemo! Unfortunately after 6 treatments she has to take a break to avoid complications that can be associated with chemo. Everything seems to be a waiting game which isn’t so comforting .. but we still have hope! She will have a scan every so often to keep track of the cancer, we are hoping it remains dormant and does not pick back up.
We still have hopes that robin will be able to travel for treatment.. long story short, if she is responsive to her chemo they will not do a trial on her. If the cancer picks back up, we will take the next steps towards a clinical trial. It’s frustrating to know there may be something out there to help my mom, but she must regress before she can have it.
We are ready to make the arrangements to travel for care if it becomes necessary. The donations have been over whelming and we are so thankful.
My mom remains positive and faithful through this journey and she thanks everyone of you for the support, love and prayers!

Hi friends! So now that everything has calmed down and the holidays have flown by I wanted to give everyone an update on my mom. Robin is going on her 5th of 6 chemo treatments. She had a scan last week and we got the results back yesterday. So happy for some good news, the cancer is shrinking, some nodules up to 50 percent! Unfortunately there still is no cure for her cancer. With only 2 more rounds of chemo left, my mom has decided to make the trip to MD Anderson in Texas for further treatment and trials to try and find a cure. Robin looks AMAZING and is still feeling great. Now that she has made this decision to travel for care any donations are welcomed and appreciated! The last thing i want is my mother to have any financial burdens along her journey against stage IV cancer. We’re confident she will kick ass and be here for years to come. Prayers are just as welcomed and appreciated as the lord and her family is what has kept her going and motivated! Thank you everyone for the continued support. I will post updates as they become available

Robin got the results of her scan yesterday. Fortunately the cancer is contained in her lungs and has not spread any further. Unfortunately the cancer is inoperable. Mom has 3 treatments left in the treatment plan.. Once that is over she will move onto clinical trials which will require travel. We remain optimistic and pray for a miracle. The cancer is at bay as of now.. And we're hoping it remains that way for years to come. She is strong will and a fighter .. Please everyone pray.. Pray for comfort, healing. My mom is the most important person in my life. I need her here with myself and my children. Thank you

Hi friends and family! Just a little update, moms pet scan was rescheduled for December 5th. As we wait, we are living off love and laughter. What great medicine that has become for us all. Her second round of chemo is today. Though the next couple days will be rough.. It I'll be worth the end result!
Robin is feeling pretty good so far which is amazing to watch. Her cough seems to be getting better which hopefully means the cancer is shrinking/dying.
Last night I had the honor of shaving my moms head. The chemo was making it fall out rapidly. Her scalp became tender and visible which at this point Robin decided to go ahead and let me shave it.. And WOW!!!.. She looks so beautiful.
Though it will be a long road, we are hopeful and confident that Robin has got this! Please continued prayers are needed and welcomed.
My life!
