I want to Make my Mom's biggest dream come true!
My Mom is Amazing. Her life has definitely thrown her a lot of curveballs and some really awful twists and turns. I know that if anyone deserves to have her biggest dream come true, its her. She raised 3 children, worked tirelessly for them nights and days to give us food and a loving home. She overcame an abusive second marriage, and many other obstacles and still you will find her with a smile almost any day.
Time has gone on and she has always been the best Mom I could ever ask for. So I want to do what she may not ever do, ask for her dream to come true.
She has always been a huge Elvis fan. From the time I was little I can remember January always rolling around and mom popping in all of our Elvis VHS tapes for a marathon to celebrate the King of Rock and Roll.
Her and my late Aunt Judy always promised each other they'd eventually try to get to Graceland together to see their favourite Star's tribute. Unfortunately my Aunt Judy passed away from cancer and they never got to go together but I know my Mom still dreams of getting the chance to go there as soon as she could afford the trip.
However, life being what it is, I know the practical side of my Mom just never gets the chance to save and set aside money for something like a trip, when she's working so hard to save for retirement to spend with her awesome grandchildren and my amazing step-dad. So, I figured an attempt at crowd-funding to give my mom a chance to spend a week in Memphis and live out a dream would be something I could do to help her out.
So please, if you can, help my Mom achieve a dream that is older than I am. She deserves to finally fulfill a life-long dream after a lot of hard work and sacrifice.
