Jeff Mold is a son, brother, husband and dad that loves his family. His love for Ohio State is a close number two He is a proud Anthony Wayne graduate that loves to support his son and daughter when they are playing soccer, football and lacrosse. He has worked for TEAM Industrial for 15 years and enjoyed his work family.
Last July, Jeff became plagued with some health issues that caused his condition to decline a little bit at time, it was determined that he lost his hearing, got severe vertigo and tinnitus. Jeff really became defeated and down as this greatly impacted what he could do day to day and that he wouldn’t be able to stay employed. This decline lead to a hospitalization last fall to try to determine how to stabilize his condition and determined that his liver was failing. Unfortunately, his energy levels and health continued to decline and lead to a major event on June 4th where Jeff went to St. Luke’s and was on a ventilator and in ICC for 8 days. His stay in ICC was a few days longer until he was strong enough to move to a stepdown room. They had him on a strong regimen to see if they couldn’t give his kidneys and liver some additional time. This was not successful and ultimately the decision was made to move him to hospice. While his prognosis is grim, we still hope and pray for a miracle.
The extended stay in the hospital, along with Judy needing to be with him to make medical decisions has impacted their revenue. Not to mention the mound of medical expenses that are accumulating. If Jeff’s health improves, he will be in need of much additional physical rehabilitation as he is extremely weak from the weeks of his body in the hospital.
We are sharing Jeff’s story in hopes that we can continue to bring prayers, well wishes and potentially financial assistance. Jeff, Judy and the kids were still adjusting to being without his full time income and were trying to adjust to a new normal. Please know, the family is extremely grateful for whatever you can offer, as part of the village that supports them and their kids in all that they try to achieve, so many have asked how you might be able to help! This help would eliminate some of the stress and current anxiety as they try to be by Jeff’s side.
