Mobile Showers - Port Macquarie

One Voice was responsible for the Worlds First Mobile Shower Bus that is restoring dignity to our friends on the streets of Melbourne.
Since the launch of our service we now have 4 services operating in 3 states, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
These services have provided over 7000 hot showers

Just think about it, having a hot shower is something that we can take for granted, its something that we generally do on a daily basis but for people experiencing homelessness this is not the case!
Some people shower at shelters or others in public toilet blocks (with cold water) leading them to worry and think,
Who is around or am I safe...
Its hard enough thinking about where to sleep each night or where does my next meal come from for most people...
We believe that restoring someones dignity is the first step to helping someone restore thier life.

Now its Port Macquaries turn!
Port Macquarie is no different than any capital city in Australia, in fact there are VERY limited support services for homeless people in most regional areas with limited or NO access to shower facilities.
You can help change this by supporting this campaign
The service will be operated in collaboration with:
The Hope Shop and Hastings Homeless Support Group
Working Together to Create more Impact!
Our mobile service offers people a safe place to shower, shave, brush their teeth and restore their dignity.
Fully Self Contained Vehicle
There are 2 private shower cubicles, on-board water and waste tanks to provide up to 22 showers, the water is heated by natural gas and the power is generated by solar panels so this makes it enviromentally friendly too.
We also provide : Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Shaving Stuff, Sanitary Items and a fresh pair of Socks and Undies.
Its time to be a light in someones dark world!
