Rebuilding Life.. After irma

My mother and stepfather lost their home to Irma on September 10th.  They had storm surge up to the 2nd level of their mobile home, which is about 8 feet.  Collier County condemned the home, just like 68 others in our County, but they have NOT requested FEMA trailers and FEMA has not come through to help these people as they should.

The landlord of the property has agreed to allow them to place a new mobile home on the property.  So many people have damaged homes and lost homes that there are very few rentals  available.  Please help towards the cost of finding a mobile home to purchase and put on the property.

My mom and stepdad focused their efforts on helping others after Irma.  You'll remember I did an initial Gofundme and that was at her request.  All of the money was used for supplies and cleaning aids.

Now its her turn.  My mom and stepdad would help anyone and over the years have had many people live with them to help them get on their feet, and now they need help.  My mom and stepdad have been out of work for 3 weeks now, and we are unsure for how much longer.

Anything helps, even if its just a share.  They deserve it. I wish I had a magic wand to help fix all of the destruction Irma left behind.
