Our focus is to make educational programmes and assessments accessible to as many students as possible across Ireland.
We would genuinely appreciate any donation that you/group or your company can afford to assist us in making this project a reality that will benefit many communities throughout Ireland.
In our extensive experience of delivering educational programmes nationally it is evident that many rural communities have little and in most cases no learning and/or assessment options available- In many cases pursuing these programmes is only available to those living in or near cities or large towns. This is very concerning as a substantial number of young teenagers and potential learners reside in these rural communities; who whilst they wish to pursue various programmes, especially IT centred Programmes, they cannot unless they or their family have access to a vehicle to transport them to attend courses and examinations.
The main objective and goal which we have been planning and developing is to establish a ‘Mobile Education & Assessment Unit (MEAU)’ that can traverse the entire country making available the highly sought after programme tuition and respective assessments in rural communities. This is an enormous initiative and undertaking but one we feel is essential and can contribute positively to rural communities and the country as a whole by equipping and empowering more individuals through learning.
Unfortunately, we are not Government funded nor are we eligible for any grants – which is why we are appealing to you the public to assist us in our plight to make this possible.
As an active member and contributor within the Education Sector in Ireland, we are trying to provide opportunities for learners with a resulting shift in skills profile required to support the jobs of the future.
In order to establish the Mobile Education & Assessment Unit (MEAU) we need to acquire a suitable vehicle that meets all necessary health & safety standards, disability access and provides an exceptional learning environment to the highest standard and one which is comparable to actual classroom facilities. It provides a resources similar to those in a conventional classroom with desks, computers, projector and whiteboard.
Through our research we have established that we can procure and purchase such a vehicle from the UK that provides precisely the aforementioned and will enable us to achieve the objectives and goals. It will of course be a second-hand vehicle but as long as it meets the standards required and it can be driven to a range of rural locations nationwide to provide on-site educational training for rural communities.
