M & M Acres

Donation protected
Here at M&M Acres we rescue, rehabilitate and rehome farm animals.  We are privately funded and heavily rely the generosity of contributions, donations and volunteers.  Without this continuous support we would not be able to assist our animals.

To feed our 40+ animals through the winter, we will need approximately 6500 bales of hay.  This will cost roughly $32,000.

We have a large vet bill that needs to be paid down. The bill includes medications, vaccinations, teeth floating and several diagnostic procedures.  Vet care is an absolute necessity for our rescue, rehab and sanctuary animals.

Rescuing and rehabilitating these animals is not a small endeavor. It is very expensive.  It is definitely labor intensive and a labor of love.  Please consider making a donation so we are able to continue providing care to these animals and find their forever homes! Every one of our animals deserves their second chance at love!

Titan, a 6 year old Haflinger
gelding rescued in February from a kill pen in Kentucky.

Clarence, our 2 year old Jacob sheep needs shearing and to be neutered.  Seen here with friends Sweet Pea, Mocha, Pepper and. Tinsel (L-R).

Some of our success stories, thanks to our supporters:

Renegade had a cancerous growth on his eye.  He was taken to the University of Illinois for its removal.

Mirage (below) had her eye sewn shut. She was dumped with her IV catheter still bandaged around her neck.   She required much vet care for her eye to heal propertly.

Zig zag (below) is an off the track Thoroughbred that came in severely emaciated with extensive lacerations and abrasions and has lost most his hair to rain rot. This is his before/after 12 day photo.

Miss Maebel (below) arrived with skin red as a tomato & dry as the desert from  malnourishment. She literally cried the first 3 days she was here. With medicated baths & proper  nourishment she has improved greatly. She's our unofficial farm mascot!

All funds go directly to the care of our animals. We are in the process of acquiring our nonprofit status.

Many of our animals have been mistreated and abused. Please help to be their second Chance!
