My name is Ricardo Gómez, classic guitarist from Venezuela. I started studying classical guitar at the Don Ángel Mottola school of music in Barcelona, Venezuela. Much has been the journey that has led me to win different guitar awards. The first was the national contest Alirio Díaz in 2011 when I was 15 years old. I have competed in Spain, USA and Venezuela and in all I have obtained prizes and above all experience for my future career. In February of 2018 I will begin the course of studies of the National University of the Arts (UNA) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where it is my dream to be able to study since at classic guitar level it is excellent. I was previously accepted to study at the Conservatori Liceu in Barcelona, Spain, but my student visa was not approved because I did not have enough funds to live in Spain.
This campaign that I start is to raise funds to carry out my studies in such a prestigious institution. The situation that my country is going through is not the most suitable to develop an artistic career. High levels of insecurity, political violence and inflation are factors that disrupt artistic formation and development. It is my greatest dream to obtain an excellent preparation so that at the end of it, I will lead a concert career and help in my country the new generations of guitarists, this way, give my contribution in lifting Venezuela from the terrible situation in which find.
The money collected will cover the cost of accommodation, food and transportation, accommodation costs amount to $ 400 per month and $ 150 per month in food. The activities in the conservatory begin in February.
I will be very grateful to receive your contribution hoping that one day you can enjoy my interpretations. I will never forget these donations and I hope that with each performance in the future, I will give each one of the audience that love and support that I receive today with your generosity.

Mi nombre es Ricardo Gómez, guitarrista clásico de Venezuela. Comencé a estudiar guitarra clásica en la escuela de música Don Ángel Mottola de Barcelona, Venezuela. Mucho ha sido el recorrido que me ha llevado a ganar diferentes premios de guitarra. El primero fue el concurso nacional Alirio Díaz en el año 2011 cuando tenía 15 años. He concursado en España, USA y Venezuela y en todos he obtenido premios y sobre todo experiencia para mi futura carrera. En Febrero de 2018 comienzo el curso de estudios de la Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA) en Buenos Aires, Argentina, donde es mi sueño poder estudiar ya que a nivel de la guitarra clasica es excelente. Anteriormente fui aceptado para estudiar en el Conservatori Liceu en Barcelona, España, pero mi visa de estudiante no fue aprobada porque no tenía fondos suficientes para vivir en España.
Esta campaña que inicio es para recaudar fondos para poder realizar mis estudios en tan prestigiosa institución. La situación por la que atraviesa mi país no es la más idónea para desarrollar una carrera artística. Los altos niveles de inseguridad, la violencia política y la inflación son factores que perturban la formación y el desarrollo artístico. Es mi mayor sueño obtener una excelente preparación para que al término de ella llevar una carrera de concertista y ayudar en mi país a las nuevas generaciones de guitarristas, así de esta manera, dar mi aporte en levantar a Venezuela de la terrible situación en que se encuentra.
El dinero recaudado servirá para cubrir los gastos de alojamiento, comida y transporte, en alojamiento los gastos ascienden a 400$ dolares mensuales y 150$ dolares mensuales en alimentación. Las actividades en el conservatorio inician en febrero.
Estaré muy agradecido de recibir tu aporte esperando que algún día puedas disfrutar de mis interpretaciones. Nunca olvidare esta donaciones y espero que con cada actuación en un futuro, dar a cada uno del público asistente, ese amor y apoyo que recibo hoy con tu generosidad.
