MJ's NICU Medical Fund

On Friday, March 24 2017, MJ's mother Sarah was admitted to the hospital for severe preeclampsia.  Dr. Oki announced an emergency C-section was necessary to prevent Sarah from having a life threatening stroke.  Sarah was given magnesium and steriods over the next 48 hours to help MJ be delivered with a better chance of lung and brain development with early birth.

On Monday, March 27 2017, Matthew Kirk Mckimmy Jr. was born at 1:12 p.m.  He weighed 1 lb 10 oz (normal weight is around 7 lbs.) and just over 12" long.

Due to MJ being delivered at 6 months, he will need to be at St. Mary's hospital in Reno.  He is being taken care of in the NICU (neo-natal infant care unit).  Unfortunately he will need to be in the NICU until possibly July depending on development and health.

These funds will help out with the Medical expenses for our little dude.  Sarah and I will be staying at the Ronald Mcdonald house in Reno during MJ's stay in the NICU.  We appreciate even the smallest donation to help our MJ.
