Many of you have been supporting, befriending, praying for, and encouraging Jason these last few months as he has processed and fought colon cancer. He has some new challenges right now and needs us to step up and be there for him.
He is going to have to move quickly as the building he lives in is being sold. His truck is in the shop and needs extensive work. He still struggles to work due to physical limitations with cancer and chemo treatments. He is in the middle of his chemo so we are not quite sure of it's progress. He is tired and struggling, as any of us would be in this situation.
Let's rally together and support him financially and prayerfully. Let's help him and lift him up. He needs his family and friends.

What a privilege to be able to support my cousin, Jason, during this time. He is a dear friend to many of you. In the last month or so, Jason was diagnosed with metastical stage 4 colon cancer that has spread througout the liver, has seeped into the bottom of the lungs, and has tentacles to the bladder. It is a rare form of cancer that has been growing for some time. Over the last year or so, Jason thought he had IBS and was making appropriate lifestyle changes to deal with that well. You can imagine how shocking then to find out you have a tumor the size of a softball. The diagnosis and prognosis is not good, but we do know that we serve a very good God. Jason wants to make every attempt to pray for a miracle and to be faithful to follow where God is leading him. He began chemo on March 14 that will continue for 6 weeks and then he will get another scan to see where things are.
Over the days ahead, Jason has been told to stop working and take care of his health. This is hard for him as he loves to work and be active. He will have medical bills and living expenses that will incrue during this time. Jason also has a very dear friend, Matt, who has experience caring for his own father through chemo and he has agreed to stay with Jason and help him as social services has not yet sent anyone in. Would you be willing to support Jason and his family in raising funds to meet these expenses? If so, please follow the prompts below. We are hoping to have the funds raised by May 1.
Jason is so gifted and talented and he is loved by so many. He has a gregarious personality and he is a big spirited man. He feels deeply for people and he loves so many. We have many fond memories that I will cherish forever. Many of you have fond memories with Jason as well. And many of you are just friends with us who know Jason and you are generous spirited people.
