Missy Moo's Medical Bills
Missy is a 2yr old malamute x black lab that was rescued by New Hope Dog Rescue in Saskatoon. I adopted her at 3 months old. During that time in my life I was struggling with extreme depression as well as going through very debilitating treatment for tumors. She saved me over and over again during those days when all I wanted was to give up.
Seeing how kind Missy was, I trained her to be a therapy dog so that she could help others! She is amazing and seems to know exactly who needs extra dog love. She has worked with me at care homes for disabled people as well as the elderly.
Missy touches the heart of every person she meets!
4 days ago Missy became very unwell, she had not gotten into anything unusal that we know of, but dogs will be dogs. She became septic the next day and has been struggling to survive ever since. We have her on constant IV fluids, IV antibiotics and are doing tube feeds. She is a fighter and I know she will pull through with the help of her friends and the awesome vets she sees everyday.
Currently I am unable to work as I just had surgery two weeks ago for removing my tumors. She has been there for me through everything and I need to be there for her, however financially it is a struggle! Any help anyone can offer would be amazing. Thank you from Missy and her entire family who love her unconditionally!
