Each place I have lived God has given me a scripture for that place. My current scripture is Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Little did I know it would look like this.
I love Twitter. I have an autoresponder that replies when someone follows me with, "Thank you for following. How can I pray for you?" I get lots of prayer requests. One day I got the best response of all, "How do I become a Christian man."
This new friend was from a closed country where it is illegal to convert from Islam to Christianity. You can be a Christian, you just cannot convert. He shared his amazing encounter with me and even allowed me to share it on my blog.

We were able to talk via social media for six months. Anytime I would ask how I could pray for him, his two responses were, "Pray that I can have a Bible and that I can see the inside of a church."
In June I got a message from him that said, "The internet is no longer safe." I feared for him. I still do not know what happened. I have now heard from him twice, but each day I pray for him as he faces so much for what he believes.
I told Sam if the opportunity ever arose for me to visit his country I had to go. I never expected it to, but the opportunity has landed in my lap.
I admit now that this has become a reality I am nervous, but I have never been more sure that I am suppose to go. God has made it very clear. The only thing standing in the way is funding so I am asking for your support. I am confident in one was or another God will provide.
Please pray for me as I prepare for this journey, for my family and for those I will meet along the way.
I will be going with an organization called Vision Beyond Borders. You can read more about them here.
https://www.visionbeyondborders.org/ The main purpose of this trip will be to bring care packages and the love of Jesus to refugees.
You can make a donation here that will go directly to them or you can mail a check directly to them and just write in the memo it is for me.
