Recreating Bataan Death March in PI

Donation protected

Four veterans recreating the Bataan Death March in the Philippines. Marching the 66 miles that the 76,000 prisoners of war had to endure under extreme conditions 75 years ago. We will eat half military rations, drink limited amounts of water, and sleep on the ground. The march will end on Memorial Day, to pay tribute to the thousands of soldiers that lost their lives in WWII.

Memorial Day has lost its meaning to mattress sales and BBQ's. We are trying to bring back the true meaning. We will be carrying the names of our fallen comrades, submitted to us by their family members, on the American flag. Each name is special to us, and their stories resonate.

The donations will pay for our flights over to the Philippines, lodging, food before during and after. We will be documenting the expedition so that more people can be made aware of the Bataan Death March and Memorial Day, and we will hire a vidrographer.

The family members of the fallen have benefited so much from knowing that their loved ones are not forgotten and will be memorialized on their day.

Mission Memorial Day needs the funds by May 15th 2017. We will be leaving for the Philippines by May 23, 2017.

We are working with a nonprofit called Rocky Mountain Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center. For nonprofit donations please contact me directly.
