Mission trip to Casa Ioana Orphanage, Romania

On April 13th, we will start our 10 days trip to Casa Ioana - a Romanian orphanage located in the northeastern part of the country. Currently, Casa Ioana gives home to ca. 20 abandoned orphans by providing them a place to live, food, clothing, education, medical care, and a protected environment for growing up. In the past decades, it has changed the lifes of three generations of orphans in remarkable positive ways, helping them to overcome their difficult and disadvantaged start in life through the offered home and education program.
To accomplish its purpose, this orphanage strongly depends on donations, other forms of financial or material aid, gifts, as well as human support.
We´re partnering since many years with Casa Ioana and are happy to help this year again. Our this year´s mission trip will serve to:
1. Improve the children' s accomodation by several construction / renovation projects
2. Teaching them English and German classes
3. Spending time with them, bringing hope, fun and love
4. Support further families and elders in need in the area of Botosani by providing them food and medical items, as well as by repairing their houses
5. Strengthen our partnership with Casa Ioana, gaining a better picture about its needs and demands in order to plan future projects and mission trips.
With your generous support, we will hopefully not only be able to cover the costs of the trip (2000 Euro), but also to provide aid to the running costs of the orphanage (e.g. food provision, education). 100% of all donations received will go directly to support our mission trip - we are a team of young and adult volunteers.
