Mission Trip to Belize with SOLT

Hello everyone! My name is Micah Ventura and if you do not know already I am a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Chicago. I will be going on a mission trip to Belize with a religious order called the Society of Our Lady of the most Holy Trinity, also known as SOLT! I have already reached my previous fundraising goals from a very generous donor, but now I need your help to raise $350 by Tuesday, May 15th!
Our mission team will leave for Belize on May 26th, 2018, and we will depart from Belize on June 7th, 2018. Our days will consist of house visits, some construction work, and putting on a youth retreat and a catechesis camp for the kids. The money that has been fundraised and your donations will go towards funding these activities! The funds will help make this trip a reality! What exactly am I doing in Belize?
In Benque Viejo, missionaries will give a week-long catechesis in Calla Creek village, build an outdoor kitchen and outhouse for two needy families, and visit poor families distributing clothing. As well, we will run a 3-day parish mission for the youth: talks and small groups to enliven the faith of the young people of Benque and surrounding areas.
In Belize City, at Divine Mercy parish the missionaries will be bringing food to the poor and homebound of the parish and ministering to the children of Holy Emmanuel, a poor slum at the periphery of the parish boundaries.
There will also be time for discovery: a visit to the Mayan ruin of Xunantunich, as well as a stop on Ambergris Caye for some snorkeling before departure, will complete the Belizean experience!
