Miracle Surviver of Car Accident

Donation protected

My son's best friend (who is like a son to me), Jesse, was in a severe car accident Saturday, October 7th at about 3 pm when he was on his way to Oconomowoc from Adell, Wisconsin. He collided head on with a vehicle at approximately 55-60 mph. Luckily, his children (age 2 and 5) were in the vehicle behind him with their mother, Victoria Goff, but unfortunately, they saw their dad almost killed. As you can see by the picture, if the kids were in the car with Jesse, they would not have survived. Both drivers sustained severe injuries. Jesse suffered 4 fractured cervical vertebraes in his neck along with a collapsed lung and a broken sacrum. He had surgery on his sacrum on Sunday morning, receiving 2 pins through his pelvis into his sacrum. Doctors continue to say how lucky he is to be alive. The mere fact that he is able to move his lower extremities is truly a miracle. His car (whats left of it) speaks for how blessed we are to have him still with us. Doctors say it's extremely important to keep his neck stable so that an operation isn't necessary considering that an operation could result in paralysis. We are waiting to hear what the next step will be and I will keep people posted on this. Within these hard times, the man of the family will not be able to provide for his children until he is back healthy and strong. Medical bills are obviously the most expensive burden to bear right now, but by no means are they the most important. Jesse and his family were planning on moving out to Seattle to be closer to the childrens' Grandmother but due to this horrendous accident, they will definitely be staying here in Wisconsin during Jesse's recovery. My goal is to raise enough money for living expenses, rehab and maybe some of the medical bills.  Jesse has a long, painful road ahead of him before be will be able to provide for his family again. They do not have a place of their own, and are down to one vehicle. I want to help Jesse, Victoria, Lilly, and Jayden as much as possible through this time of hardship. We have so much love and support, and are so blessed to have the gift of life, love, and family. Please help us reach our goal, and thank you all for your support ❤
