Milo's hip dysplasia
Donation protected
Milo is an eight-month-old puppy born with hip dysplasia, if you are unaware hip dysplasia is when the hip joint develops abnormally which causes joint laxity (looseness) which causes the ball to knock in and out of the socket as the dog moves or runs. This movement of the joint causes rubbing of the bone and the joint leading to osteoarthritis, milo has moderate early hip dysplasia secondary to hip joint laxity in both hips with possibly early degenerative changes in the left hip. The vet said that the left hip is worse than the right hip because the arthritis has already set in so the left hip will need a complete replacement, the right hip just needs corrective surgery.
The corrective surgery costs £3000 and this surgery has been done on the 15 22018 and we as a family have managed to fund this operation but the hip replacement costs £6000 and this we do not have.
The first surgery will be soon but the replacement will be in two months.
I would really appreciate any amount of money, I feel like it would be such a shame if I didn't do anything to help him but I just don't have the money. I love him so much and to see him in pain breaks my heart.
