We have been blessed to be trained by the best and we are committed to pay it forward through the First Annual “Miles of Smiles” Dental Clinic. Eleven University of Kentucky dental students and faculty have partnered with Restoration Community Church to serve underprivileged children and adults in Nicaragua.
Our goal is to provide cleanings, fillings, and extractions for as many men, women, and children as we can serve during our visit. For many, this may be the only dental care they have ever received.
As the poorest country in Central American, Nicaraguan’s have tremendous needs. It is estimated that 40% of the country has no access to health services. However, because it is the safest country in Central America, there is also tremendous opportunity to meet those needs.
Though this is a FREE CLINIC, IT’S NOT CHEAP! - we are seeking the support of family, friends, businesses, and compassionate, generous people like you to help take all the necessary equipment and supplies we need to Masaya, Nicaragua.
You can help by donating towards this groundbreaking event and accomplishing our goal of $10,000! Time is of the essence to make this mission a reality. Please consider donating by September 15th.
