Mike H's Addiction Recovery

First, thank you so much for clicking the link and reading. It's difficult to tell someone else's story and appeal to the public for help, but if there was ever a time that it was needed, now is it.
On March 6th, 2019, our brother Peter "PJ" Hagerman lost his battle with addiction. It was heartbreaking for all of us, but especially scary for Mike as he has battled with addiction for years. Mike desperately wants to get clean and healthy but a major barrier for this is the cost of treatment.
Mike is currently in a detox facility but ultimately needs a long term, structured care program with a dual-focus on addiction and grief counseling. While he is fortunate to have health insurance that covers detox treatment, Mike's insurance will be running out soon without coverage for a 60-day program that will provide a stable foundation on which to build his recovery. A sober-living facility with specialization in dual diagnosis and treatment is key to that success, but the cost is over $10,000.
Many folks asked me what they can do to support us while we are grieving. My family's most immediate need is to get Mike the care and support he needs. By donating to this, you are contributing to Mike's first month in a treatment program- every little bit helps and I can't tell you how much Mike and our family appreciate your love and support.
If you're not in a position to donate- we'd appreciate your support by sharing this on social media. By sharing you'll increasing the likelihood of reaching our goal to get Mike the care he needs- thank you!!
