Mike and Teresa Thomas House Fire

I got a text today and discovered a family that I love very much has suffered the loss of their home to a fire. My sister Stacey and I spent a lot of time with the Thomas family in that home. Stacey and I would like to start this fund to help them with expenses that are to come.  I am going to provide a copy of their son Dave's words that truly show the heart of this family. They are wonderful people and could certainly use the money as they start to rebuild.

Dave: "Today has been one of the hardest days my family has ever had to endure. My parents home, my childhood home, burned down this morning. We lost everything. We are so thankful that my parents and my fur brother Ozzie were able to get out in time. Pray for us as we are going through all this. My parents built our house 39 years ago. So many memories were in that house.

Our family would like to thank the PG Fire Dept, Old Fort Fire Dept, Crooked Creek Fire Dept, Marion Fire Dept and all the first responders, EMS and rescue squad for coming to help. Thank you to our churches, family and friends who have stopped by, brought food, cried with us and for just being there. Pray for us this week as we deal with the aftermath. A house is just a house, our home is still intact."
