Mighty Maxx - fight against cancer
Donation protected
I am asking for your help for my sister Julie who is an incredible Mom to Maxx and Jake.
Maxx is an amazing , fun, kind-hearted 11 year old kid who loves school, sports, family and friends. He was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a very rare and aggressive form of cancer, shortly after Christmas. That was the beginning of his journey as a warrior against cancer.
Maxx’s chemo therapy is very aggressive and he and his Mom have a grueling schedule of trips in and out of Boston almost daily.
My sister, Julie, has been Wonder Woman raising him and his 9yr old brother on her own with minimal help from their Dad. She had to leave her full time job to support her child in his battle against cancer. She has been a pillar of strength and support to her boys. She helps them get through everyday. This alone is enough for any one person but then there are the events of everyday life. She is in the process of securing dependable , safe transportation for their many trips to the hospital, (sometimes in the middle of the night) along with many unexpected expenses that arise daily. Julie’s father, Daniel, has been helping her manage her finances and will therefore be helping to manage donations.
Julie and her boys are not strangers to helping people. They have volunteered for many local fundraising events.
They now are in need of some help.
We thank you for your generous gifts and above all else ask for your continued prayers.
