Dawson Mifumi

Dawson is a 16 year old Ugandan floor hockey player who is waiting to join senior one for his Ordinary (secondary) level.He has been playing floor hockey for the last six years despite his mild Intellectual disability and being raised by a single parent (dad). He has represented his local team twice in Nairobi Kenya (2009 & 2015) to play in League Ndogo and also led his team to the national championship thus qualifying for Special Olympics World Winter Games Austria 2017.
Dawson looks up to international athletes like Christiano Ronaldo and hopes to achieve similar success like him in field of floor hockey. He would like to go represent the national team In Austria and therefore needs funding of $2500 to cater for hotel, meals & travel expenses associated with the games.
Attending the games will be a wonderful experience for me and would be grateful for any contributions to the goal.
