My name is Jonnie, my husband's name is Dale. Our long time friend and my husband's coworker for 30 years, Michelle, has been battling cancer the last several months and on Monday she received bad news that she only has 3-6 months left to live.
She has been highly optimistic about recovering and did not intend on having to prepare for her own funeral. Sadly, she did not have life insurance or any money to pay for her own funeral and her loving fiance does not have the funds available to provide a funeral for her at this time. They have been supporting three children, one whom is a severe type 1 diabetic.
Yesterday evening, she took a turn for the worse, and today, she is being moved to hospice. They do not know if she has a couple of hours or a couple of days at this point.
Sadly, we are having to ask for assistance from their friends and family to gather funds to be able to bury her when she passes.
Michelle has been such a supportive friend to us as well as many others. She was always sweet, and the type of woman that would have given you the shirt off of her back.
It would mean the world to us to be able to help her family give her the burial she deserves. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
