Michael O'Donnell Critical Injury

As many of you may know, Michael was involved in an accident while traveling abroad that resulted in a 30 ft fall. He was airlifted to the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam where they performed surgery and treated him in the ICU for multiple injuries. Due to a collapsed lung, he is not able to fly back to the US for two weeks.

While he is stable, he has a long recovery ahead of him involving additional surgeries and PT. He has received excellent care while at VU University Medical Center, however since Amsterdam has socialized healthcare they will not work directly with his insurance company. His insurance will only reimburse a portion of his medical bills once they are paid upfront.
