Raising Money for MK Sounds Fund

On April 3, 2015, Michael Kaseem McKinney, also known as Michael K. Sounds, was given his angel wings and went home to be with the Lord. 

He was a hard worker, a family man and went above and beyond to help others. He was an inspiration to many. On April 9th, we celebrated his life with a memorial in Brooklyn, New York. We thank everyone who was able to attend.

Because his unfortunate passing was quite unexpected, we were not prepared for all of the funeral expenses and financial responsibilities. However with the grace of God we were able to raise over $2000 within 48 hours to help contribute to the cost of his funeral and additional related expenses. So far today we have raised $2258, so we are just a few hundred dollars away from our goal of $3000. 

We aren't asking for any handouts or to get rich. At this point any form of donations and contributions will be going towards moving Michael's belongings back to be with his family in Missouri and paying off any remaining costs from his funeral.

We appreciate any amount even if its $1, $5 or 20. It all will help. Michael's brother, Freddie Gregg, has taken on majority of the responsibilities of making sure that his brother belongings and legacy are handled correctly. Any donations will also help to get Freddie and his family, including Michael’s mother, back home to Missouri safely.
