Many of my friends and family know about the long suffering of my son Michael and his battle with brain cancer. On Thursday, January 17th, he lost the battle. His son Christian, my grandson, is now left to pick up the pieces. We’re asking for help on his behalf to help with the expenses of Michael’s cremation and getting his affairs in order so Christian can pack up and move to be with his mother in Iowa so his healing can begin.
These last three years have robbed my son of his life and quality of life and have robbed my grandson of what was left of his childhood. Instead of dealing with the beginning of adulthood he had to help his dad deal with his illness on a day-to-day basis and couldn’t afford the time or money to go to school full time like his dad wanted for him.
Friends and family are doing their best to help Christian in this difficult time. Our goal with this gofundme is to raise the funds needed to first pay the fees for Michael’s cremation and then to accomplish Christian’s move to Iowa as quickly and efficiently as possible. Without Michael, Christian isn’t financially or emotionally able to remain in their shared residence and the sooner we get him moved, the sooner his healing can begin.
