Michael Myers Celebration Expenses

Dear friends,

Many of you have heard the devastating news that we lost our friend Michael Myers in a bicycle crash on Thursday, November 8. As a way of showing our love and support to his wife Yolanda and their boys, we are making all of the arrangements for the gathering to celebrate his life. We would like to take care of this in its entirety, including the financial aspect, so that Yolanda can be freed to focus on the many other things that will need her attention.

Please join us in giving this gift to the Myers family by contributing to the costs of putting on Michael’s celebration of life. We have heard many tributes to how much Michael meant to all of you, and this is a tangible way we can show our appreciation for him. Any money raised beyond the cost of the event will be donated to a charity of Yolanda’s choosing.

We have set the target at $7500 to be sure to cover expenses, but to go beyond that would be a great way to continue Michael's legacy.

Thank you again for giving.

Just a follow-up to make sure all donors know how these funds are being handled (GoFundMe requires this information to be posted as well). Yolanda has requested that I withdraw the funds and write a check directly to her so that she can be reimbursed for the expenses for Michael's celebration of life.
