Micaiah's Fight

On Friday, May 18th, our family was faced with devastating news that my 4 year old nephew, Micaiah, was diagnosed with Nephroblastoma or Wilms' Tumor. Wilms' Tumor is a form of kidney cancer that has affected not just one, but both of his kidneys and has also spread into his lungs. 








They have done many ultrasounds as well as 2 Ct scans. He will get a port today as he will begin chemotherapy and radiation. He will also get a feeding tube as he is just not eating like he needs to. The Wilms tumor is 14 cm, so they need to shrink it before they remove it.

We would appreciate prayers and positive vibes for Micaiah. He is so strong and is fighting this with everything his little body will allow him. 

Right now his mom and dad will be unable to work as much as they need to. We don't know how long he will be in the hospital, until treatment is started and evaluated. Micaiah also has 2 little sisters that their parents need to be able to care for. 

We are asking for assistance during this most difficult time. It is scary and there are so many unknowns.

Micaiah's parents have one car and currently that car does not have working A/C. Which will be hard for them to take him for treatments in the AZ summer heat.

His 2 little sisters are missing him and their mom and dad. Since they are so small it is really hard for them to process all of this. Please keep a special prayer for them too.
