Micah's Recovery
Donation protected
Micah was struck by a bullet while walking at Ron Ortega Park in Oceanside, CA. He was found by witnesses an hour after he was struck and taken to the hospital via ambulance. Micah suffered respiratory failure and neurological injuries as a result of the gunshot wound. He spent 3 days in a coma and was hospitalized for over 30 days. This is to support his continued recovery and to help pay for some of his non-covered medical costs and other expenses incurred as a result of his traumatic neurological injury. Micah ideally would have supervision for all physical activities and continued physical therapy. This injury has changed his life and he is still adjusting to his new life predicament at the young age of 21. Any donations are deeply appreciated.
