Quincy Needs YOUR Help!

Donation protected

On April 5th, 2018 at 7:15 am, my 3 children and myself were getting into our vehicle in our driveway to leave for the day. Quincy, our beloved 1 year old Schnoodle was following me to jump into the car. As, I was walking to my car, a distracted driver (on his cell phone) and speeding in a large SUV crossed into my driveway and hit Quincy. Fortunately, he did not hit me or my children BUT he hit Quincy and dragged him a few feet before almost hitting my mailbox, etc.
I rushed to Quincy's aid, while the driver fled the scene.

Luckily, Quincy survived and is doing quite well. But he sustained several broken bones on his back leg and a total de-gloving. So, with surgeries to repair tendons, constant monitoring, a ton of medication, and wound management for the next several weeks to avoid infection, he may be able to avoid an amputation of his leg.

As you can imagine, this involves a lot traveling back and forth to the vet (we live 45 minutes away from the vet now) and he requires medical care for the next several weeks. And because we just relocated due to domestic violence this is not something we anticipated nor can afford. However, Quincy has been a part of our family through thick and thin and deserves a fighting chance. Ive already filed with the police but because it was on private property its considered a civil matter. And unless the driver is willing to file a claim with their insurance (he's not and claiming zero responsibility) , it leaves us with his ongoing medical care and costs. Please support our cause to get Quincy up and running again !
