Hi! My name is Kali Sheppard, and I am an 18 year old vocalist from Danvers, Massachusetts. This November, I auditioned for A Cappella Academy, which is a very selective 10-day vocal intensive camp in Los Angeles, California. Recently, I have found out that I have been accepted, and to describe my feelings as grateful is an extreme understatement.
I had the privilege of attending A Cappella Academy last year as well, where I participated in Collector's Edition, a co-ed group.

This year, attending A Cappella Academy would mean a lot to me, as it is the last possible year I can attend (the camp is for ages 13-18, and the last year to participate is the summer going into college for most). Since this is my last year, you can probably assume that I am going into college, which is part of the reason that I am trying to raise funds via gofundme, so I can lessen the financial burden my parents are already getting ready to begin.
This fall, I will be a freshman attending Berklee College of Music, in Boston, Massachusetts. If you know me well, you know how excited I am. If you don't, music is simply put my life. I spend my weekends, weekdays, and nights participating in multiple ensembles at my school, as well as singing in my free time, as well.
I have learned so much from this experience last year, that I would do everything in my power to experience it again, and to spend another week doing exactly what I love.
Tuition for camp is $1995, and my ULTIMATE goal is to raise all of those funds myself. Although I know that asking for donations from everyone is wishful thinking, if you are unable to donate please SHARE this page, so that there would be more of a chance of others seeing this page, as well!
I cannot express how grateful I am for the opportunity to attend A Cappella Academy again, and how much your support means to me! The date that funds are due is still TBD, although last year it was March 20.
