Meygan Jackson Memorial

Meygan Jackson, 32, sadly passed away this morning on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 after a tough three year long battle with breast cancer.  Meygan leaves behind her three year old son, Keygan, and her high school sweetheart and husband, Kenny Jackson, who was by her side every moment through these trifling times.

Throughout her life, Meygan consistently donated her time and efforts to helping others.  She was a wonderful and masterful teacher in the classroom, even becoming teacher of the year in 2017.  During her first stint with breast cancer, she remained vigilant in the classroom and continued to teach and be an inspiration to us all in between her treatments.  She planned to continue to impact the world on a larger scale by becoming a principal, and was well on her way there.  Outside of teaching, Meygan and Kenny were avid travelers.  One of their goals in life was to see as much of the world as possible. 

Her attitude was unwavering - she fought tough and always believed that she would see her way through this.

Kenny has decided not to have a funeral, but will be doing a cremation. He asks that in lieu of flowers, please help donate to their medical and final expenses, or consider donating to the Jimmy V foundation (or any other cancer research) in her name.
