St Mary's Senior High School

Imagine a day without internet access: disconnected from social media, unable to access information for work or for school, and powerless when trying to manage your personal accounts and finances. Overall, not a productive day. For Ghanaian girls at St. Mary’s Senior High School, this is an everyday occurrence. These students simply strive for opportunities to better their education by improving access to: widespread information, online courses for STEM (and other unsupported disciplines) as well as resources for standardized testing and scholarships to apply for universities abroad.
Currently, in partnership with St. Mary's alumni ("SMOGA 92"), SIA-Africa is striving to raise $15,000 to aid the 850 girls at St. Mary's Senior High School in Accra, Ghana in obtaining uninterrupted internet service and to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education through access to technology and distance learning (i.e. online courses).
Your support will contribute to a social impact, providing the tools necessary for equal education and for the empowerment of the girls at St. Mary’s.
