Mexican Christian School In Crisis

Donation protected
This week in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, the torrential rains caused massive flooding to the colony of El Eden where Instituto Moisés Sáenz  is located.  The water is 3-feet deep in some classrooms. This elementary and middle school was built by Feed My Lambs Ministry of Atlanta in the 90's and has continued to grow giving Christian education to children in this low socioeconomic area of the city.

This school is a beacon of our Lord's love and grace, not only for the students and parents associated with it,  but also to the city of Piedras Negras.

The school is reporting total losses in academic material, furniture and technological equipment.  Classes are cancelled until the water level goes down and the staff and students can get into the school to start the cleaning process.

As most of you know who know me, I worked at this school for 6 years and know that these teachers and staff are so dedicated to the students of this school. Elizabeth Lopez, one of the school's 5th grade teachers reached out last night. The situation is devastating.

Please give what you can to this part of the body of Christ during this challenging time.  Thank you and God bless you.
